RHOSLC Stars React to Heather Gay’s Season 5 Finale Text Game

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay might need to stop trying to make “world peace” happen.

The show’s season 5 finale, which aired on Wednesday, January 15, featured the RHOSLC women sitting around a table sharing … insults about each other. Might not have been your best idea, Heather.

“I think we should take our phones, go through our text messages, find the worst thing we’ve said about someone at this table,” she said during the episode. “We’re going to hand the thing that you said to the person that you said it about and they’re going to read it out loud to the group.”

While some amends were made, Lisa Barlow proved, once again, that she might be the most dramatic of the group when asking to “get this f—ing mic off me” after the reading of her text.

Prior to the finale, Heather teased to Us Weekly exclusively last month that it was “better” than the Reality Von Tease reveal last year.

“I think it’s gonna rank up there,” she said at the time. “I’ve heard from people that had a bird’s-eye view that it’s better than Bermuda and that Salt Lake City really brought it.”

Mary Cosby

“You want us all to get it out? OK, let’s go for it. Let’s see what happens,” Mary said during the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City: After Show on Wednesday. “I’m sure that’s a recipe for disaster — and it was.”

She also noted that it “ended with a bang,” referring to Lisa’s walk-off.

“I loved it though. It was real emotion, it was real hurt feelings,” Mary continued. “It showed everyone’s true [colors].”

Meredith Marks

“I think your game was a horrible idea,” she told Heather during the aftershow.

Whitney Rose

“I had to sit there and read mean things and hear things about myself and sit with it,” Whitney also shared during the aftershow, referring to Heather calling her “a lowlife thirsty piece of s—.”

Bronwyn Newport

The RHOSLC newbie thinks that “some people” took the game seriously while others did not.

“I think it helped me realize what I already knew about everybody sitting at the table,” she continued. “I’ve always wanted to be friends with Heather. I think there’s a lot of value in who Heather is and how she conducts herself. I think we have a lot in common and could be really good friends.”

Bronwyn noted that she “respected” how Heather acted during the game. “I respected her coming up with this,” she added.

Lisa Barlow

She noted that the game only worked with “a few” people while appearing on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Wednesday.
