Brittany Mahomes Praises ‘Perfect Babies’ With Sweet Photo of 2 Kids
Brittany Mahomes is thankful for her kids this year.
“My perfect babies,” Brittany, 29, captioned her Instagram Story post on Wednesday, November 27. The black-and-white image featured her two kids photographed from behind as they looked out a window.
“Did you help me decorate for Bronze’s birthday?” Brittany asked 3-year-old daughter Sterling in a second Instagram Story post. “How old is Bronze turning tomorrow?”
Sterling held up two fingers before Brittany showed off the balloons littering the hallway of their house. Of course, they were Kansas City Chiefs colored.
Brittany shares Sterling and Bronze, 2, with husband Patrick Mahomes. The couple announced in July that they were gearing up for baby No. 3.
“Round three, here we come,” they captioned a joint Instagram post at the time. Brittany and Patrick, 29, were joined by their kids for the announcement, which showed off her ultrasound photos. Later that month, the couple revealed that they would be having another baby girl.
Patrick has since declared that he and Brittany would not be having more than three kids.
“I’m done, I’ll say that,” he told reporters during Chiefs training camp in July. “I said three and I’m done.”
He did, however, say that it’s “awesome” being a young dad.
“I always wanted to have kids young,” Patrick continued. “I got to grow up in a locker room, and it made such an impact in my life. We’re on our third kid now. … Brittany does a great job of doing that and we still go out and enjoy our life.”
As her pregnancy has continued, Brittany hasn’t been shy showing off her baby bump while cheering on her husband at various Kansas City Chiefs games. She’s also offered Instagram followers an inside look at her pregnancy workouts — thanks to fitness instructor Kirsty Rae.
“Many women experience what’s called ‘mom butt’ during and after pregnancy, which happens when the glutes lose shape and muscle mass,” Rae captioned an Instagram video late last month. “This is often due to changes in posture and how we move as our bodies adjust to pregnancy.”
The trainer used Brittany as an example of how to avoid this.
“By focusing on glute engagement and maintaining strength training, you can actually continue to build muscle,” the caption continued. It’s all about proper movement, posture, and progressive overload.”
There is one exercise, however, that has given Brittany some issues as her pregnancy journey continues.
“Step ups — the one workout that kills me the more pregnant I get,” she captioned a November 8 social media post. But “sumo anything” — like squats — she’s fully on board for. “Sign me up.”
On Thursday, Brittany took to social media to show off her weight lifting. “A quick workout before all these festivities,” she captioned an Instagram Story video that showed her doing squats with her baby bump on display.
