Taylor Swift Copies Travis Kelce’s Viral ‘Karma’ Dance at Toronto Show

Taylor Swift seemingly has boyfriend Travis Kelce on the brain even when they are geographically apart.

Swift, 34, performed her third concert at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Saturday, November 17, the same day that Kelce, 35, jetted to Buffalo, New York, for his next Kansas City Chiefs football game.

At the end of Saturday’s concert — which several of Kelce’s close friends attended — Swift appeared to nod to her boyfriend’s dance skills. During her improvised section in “Midnight Rain,” the pop star rotated her arms around each other before sticking her thumbs out to the side reminiscent of a “Born to Hand Jive” from Grease-type move.

The dance, which occurred as Swift sang “He never thinks of me / Except when I’m on TV,” appeared to replicate a similar move that Kelce is known for.

Karma really is the guy on the Chiefs — and Taylor Swift can’t resist giving him shout-outs during her Eras Tour concerts. Swift, 34, closed out her Friday, July 5, concert in Amsterdam with her Midnights set that features a live rendition of “Midnight Rain,” improvising part of the choreography. She cheekily brushed her shoulders […]

Back in June, Kelce attended Swift’s concert in London — yes, that one where he famously joined her onstage in the Tortured Poets Department section — and was seen grooving during her rendition of “Karma.” He appeared to do the same moves that Swift did on Saturday, per social media videos.

Several Swifties think that the Saturday nod was purposeful.

“OK let me see if I got this right. She sang ‘Us.’ with Gracie today, the same song she sang the day Travis got on stage,” one fan wrote via X. “Then sang two of the songs she sang in Singapore. Then did this dance that was the dance Travis did on that same day. Okayyyy Taylor wtf.”

In Swift’s acoustic section on Saturday, she mashed up “Us.” with Gracie Abrams — in celebration of the song’s 2024 Grammy nomination — with “Out of the Woods.” Her next medley combined “You’re On Your Own, Kid” and “Long Story Short.” (Swift and Abrams, 25, previously debuted the live version of their duet during the same London concert at Wembley Stadium.)

Forget football, Travis Kelce is now officially one of girlfriend Taylor Swift’s backup dancers. During Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London on Sunday, June 23, fans captured video footage of Kelce, 34, performing the choreography to “Karma.” While watching Swift, 34, perform her last song of the night, the NFL star was spotted with a […]

Swift performed in Singapore back in March, where “Long Story Short” was one of the acoustic selections. Kelce attended the show hours before they enjoyed a date at Garden by the Bay, which was featured in Swift’s “Fortnight” YouTube short earlier this year.

Swift and Kelce have been together since summer 2023.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she gushed to TIME in a 2023 profile. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Just as Kelce has attended many of Swift’s concerts, she does the same for his Chiefs games.
