Johnny Gaudreau’s 2-Year-Old Daughter Shows Off Dance Moves
Johnny Geaudreau’s 2-year-old daughter is back in dance class.
Katie, the late NHL player’s sister, shared a series of photos and videos via her Instagram channel that included her niece Noa showing off her moves.
“My heart & soul,” she captioned the post. “Aunt Katie’s girls take on ASD. 🩷🩷🩷”
She also posted an old video via her stories of Johnny fixing Noa’s hair before class.
“The best dad,” she wrote over the video. “And the painted fingernails (best girl dad).”
Johnny’s wife, Meredith, shared the photo to her story, writing, “My strong girls,” with a star and pink heart emoji.
She also shared a series of photos submitted by fans, who responded to a call she put out for their “favorite Johnny Hockey pic.” The call for pics was accompanied by her favorite picture of her husband, which showed him holding Noa as a newborn.
Meredith, who is pregnant with her and Johnny’s third baby, spoke at her husband’s funeral about the bond the family has developed.
“Noa, our oldest, hasn’t even turned two yet,” Meredith said in her eulogy. “In less than three years of marriage, we’ve created a family of five. It doesn’t even sound possible. But I look at it as the ultimate blessing. How lucky am I to be the mother of John’s three babies? Our last one being a blessing and so special, despite these difficult circumstances.”
In addition to Noa, the couple shared son Johnny, born in February 2024.
Johnny and his brother, Matthew, were killed on August 29 when they were struck by a car while riding their bikes in Oldmans Township, New Jersey. The driver, Sean M. Higgins, was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, Us Weekly confirmed in the days following the accident. Johnny was 31 and Matthew was 29. They were both scheduled to be groomsmen in Katie’s wedding, which was scheduled for the next day.
In the months since, tributes have poured in from family, fans and Johnny’s team, the Columbus Blue Jackets.
“The Columbus Blue Jackets are shocked and devastated by this unimaginable tragedy,” the team posted via X following the accident. “Johnny was not only a great hockey player, but more significantly a loving father, son, brother and friend. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to his wife, Meredith, his children Noa and Johnny, his parents, their family and friends on the sudden death of Johnny and Matthew.”
