Pregnant Gypsy Rose Blanchard Reveals the Paternity of Baby Girl

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is ready to quiet the haters and reveal the biological father of her baby girl.

“There’s been a lot of chatter around the paternity of our baby and while we’ve known for sure from the beginning, I feel that it’s finally time to put all these theories to rest,” she wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, November 5, referring to the possibility that her ex-husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, and not her current boyfriend, Ken Urker, could be the dad.

The 33-year-old pregnant star shared her results of her prenatal paternity test, which identified her boyfriend, Urker, as the father. According to the document, there’s a 99.9 percent probability that Urker, who is identified as the “alleged father” in the doc, is the paternal parent.

“Ken is going to be an incredible dad, and we are so excited to welcome our baby girl into the world. 💗,” Blanchard added.

Blanchard met Urker through a prison pen pal program while she was serving a 10-year sentence for second-degree murder for her role in the killing of her mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. Gypsy was allegedly abused by her mother throughout her childhood and in 2015, Dee Dee was found dead from multiple stab wounds. She was 48.

Gypsy pleaded guilty to the crime after she and then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn were arrested. Godejohn, 34, confessed to planning the crime with Gypsy and was convicted of first-degree murder in 2018. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Gypsy served seven years.

While Gypsy was in prison, she got engaged to Urker in 2018. The pair split one year later, and Gypsy married Anderson in 2022 while still behind bars.

Gypsy was released from prison in December 2023. She announced her split from Anderson in March, filing for divorce that same month.

Gypsy sparked reconciliation rumors with Urker in April, telling TMZ that month that their “love for each other is simply undeniable.” Three months later, Gypsy announced that the couple are expecting their first baby together.

She explained in a YouTube video posted in July that the pregnancy was “not planned,” but said she and Urker are “very excited to take on this journey of parenthood.”

In August, Gypsy revealed that they’re expecting a girl. “Ken and I are over the moon and are so excited to start our family,” she captioned an Instagram reveal photo. “We’re so thankful for our friends, neighbors, and families who came to our party today! We also want [to] thank ya’ll for your love and support! 💕🎀✨.”
