DWTS’ Ezra Is Just Like Us About Brooks Nader, Gleb Savchenko’s Split

Dancing With the StarsEzra Sosa proved he is Just Like Us when it comes to getting invested in Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko‘s sudden split.

Brooks, 28, and Gleb’s chemistry was on display since season 33 of Dancing With the Stars premiered in September. After viewers speculated that the pair were dating offscreen, Us Weekly confirmed that Brooks and Gleb, 41, were “hooking up.” They were voted off during the fifth week on DWTS and one week later Us confirmed their split.

“Gleb got way too comfortable, especially in the amount of time he was spending at Brooks’ home to a point it had begun to concern Brooks’ people and family close to her,” a source recently told Us. “Gleb sensed Brooks pulling back because of this.”

According to the insider, Savchenko wanted to “get ahead of the situation” and decided to initiate a breakup “via a text.” The breakup has played out publicly as Brooks and Gleb took turns sharing shady TikToks. But it was Ezra’s comments in Brooks and Gleb’s individual comment sections that kept DWTS fans entertained by the fallout of the split.

“Wait…WHAT,” Ezra, 23, replied to Brooks’ initial TikTok video of her mouthing to Miles Teller’s Whiplash monologue where he said, “I don’t think we should be together. I’ve thought about it a lot, and this is what’s going to happen. I’m going to keep pursuing what I’m pursuing and because of that it’s going to take up more and more of my time and I’m not going to be able to spend as much time with you.”

In a follow-up clip from Brooks, Ezra joked that “this is gonna get so messy 🍿.” Ezra was just as reactive to Gleb’s uploads which included him lip-synching to Drake‘s song “God’s Plan,” that had lyrics such as, “She say, ‘Do you love me?’ I tell her, ‘Only partly / I only love my bed and my momma, I’m sorry.’”

“Welcome back gleb :’),” Ezra wrote. “IM SAT.” Ezra reacted to another video, adding, “I JUST SPAT OUT MY WATER.” By the time Gleb started using audio from Taylor Swift songs, Ezra appeared “over” the back and forth.

“I’m uncomfortably too early,” he shared. Ezra replied the same sentiment to Brooks’ ongoing posts about he has been “so tired” of the drama. Meanwhile, fellow DWTS pro Emma Slater was still invested, writing in Gleb’s comments, “Dude I’m just watching this back and forth with everyone on here… and I’ll stay for as long as this plays out 😂.”

Before their split, Brooks gushed about her “instant” connection with Gleb, telling Us, “We don’t get to pick our partners, so we have no idea until we meet them that first day who it is. It was definitely a sign from some universe that I got paired with Gleb.”

The former couple even got matching tattoos, which the model confirmed to Us was astrology-related.

“It has a special meaning,” Brooks shared about her pelvis tattoo. “It’s a little symbol, and it means something special. No animals. It’s a bit more in the astrology realm, but it’s not my star sign. None of that. It means something in that world. That’s my best hint I can give.”
