Kylie Jenner Is ‘Authentic Style’ Consists of ‘Dark Feminine’ Dressing

After years of experimenting, Kylie Jenner has finally found her true sense of style.

Jenner, 27, opened up about her fashion evolution while chatting with Elle for her November 2024 cover story, published Wednesday, October 23.

“I’ve definitely had some moments of quiet luxury, but I’m always experimenting,” she explained, noting that the minimalistic look is not what she’s been leaning towards as of late. “I think I’m actually going in the opposite direction. At the root of my authentic style, I think I’m more dark feminine,” Jenner said.

She continued: “I think just remaining myself, being classic and wearing what makes me feel great is where my head’s at right now.”

Jenner went on to explain that she currently feels “more confident and more like [herself] than ever before.”

“The first part of my twenties was having children, learning what my personal style was and then losing it,” she said. “Not knowing how to dress, gaining 60 pounds for both pregnancies. It took me a year to feel like myself again.”

While finding her identity, Jenner revisited her “King Kylie” era last month, which consisted of teal hair dye, long lashes, full eyebrows and a matte lip.

Admitting that it was fun to rock a blue wig for a day, Jenner shared that she doesn’t see herself fully reviving the look anytime soon. “[It] will always be a part of who I am, but it’ll never be what it was when I was younger,” she said. “I probably would never wear lash extensions and thick eyebrows. There are just certain trends that I’ve grown out of.”

Over the years, Jenner has begun slowly embracing more of her natural beauty. During a June season 5 episode of The Kardashians, she opened up about “dissolving half [of her] lip filler” while having an emotional conversation about confidence with her sister Kendall Jenner.

The previous season, Kylie admitted for the first time that she had a breast augmentation at 19 years-old, and that she would be “heartbroken” if her daughter Stormi, 6, did the same. (Kylie shares Stormi and son Aire, 2, with ex-husband, Travis Scott.)

She continued: “I want to be the best mom and best example for her. I wish I could do it all differently, because I wouldn’t touch anything.”
