Taylor Swift Debuts New ‘Reputation’ Outfit on Revived ‘Eras Tour’
We are so back — well, at least Taylor Swift is. The singer returned to the stage for her final leg of her Eras Tour in Miami on Friday, October 18.
Swift, 34, stepped back into the spotlight at Hard Rock Stadium, where she debuted a new Reputation outfit for the first time in her blockbuster tour’s 131 shows.
Swift dons a variety of different looks to represent each of her musical eras on stage. Previously, she wore a black and red bodysuit to perform songs from 2017’s Reputation, one of her edgiest albums, but on Friday, she revealed an updated riff on that costume, sporting a black asymmetrical bodysuit with gold and silver snake embroidery.
More than few Swifties are taking the outfit change as a sign that Swift will soon announce that she’s re-recording a new Reputation album to follow her updated versions of albums including 1989, Speak Now and Fearless.
Hours before the show, the “Fortnight” singer posted a video of herself standing in the empty venue with one of her beloved cats, Olivia Benson, in her arms. “Back in the office… 😎 #MiamiTSTheErasTour,” she captioned the clip, which was set to GloRilla and Sexyy Red’s “Whatchu Kno About Me.”
Prior to heading back to work, Swift enjoyed quality time with boyfriend Travis Kelce, enjoying several New York City date nights amid his bye week.
Since they debuted their relationship in September 2023, the couple have become increasingly comfortable with sharing parts of their relationship with the world, supporting each other at NFL games and concerts and gushing over one another from time to time.
“You wanna keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to, like, hide anything,” Kelce said during a June appearance on the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast. “That’s my girl. You know what I mean? That’s my lady, so it’s, like, I’m proud of that.”
Swift, for her part, thanked Kelce during her 2024 MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech for Video of the Year in September, raving, “Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic.”
In recent weeks, Swift sparked concern when she missed two of Kelce’s away games. However, a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month that “nothing has changed” between the pair.
“They’re spending as much time together as possible while balancing their careers and individual responsibilities — his game and her music empire, along with personal projects,” the insider said. “They’re choosing not to dwell on the noise, focusing instead on staying true to themselves and being happy.”
The source added that Swift “has been enjoying a few more days of freedom before her upcoming shows” on the final leg of her Eras Tour as she is “trying to manage her schedule to allow for a better work-life balance.”
Although Swift and Kelce “are both focused on their work now,” they are eager to “get through the holidays and the tour” and figure out “their next moves after the new year,” according to the insider.
In September, a second source exclusively told Us that the duo “are very committed and serious about their future,” noting that Swift “is ready for the next era of her life.”
Indeed, Kelce and Swift have already had “serious conversations” about their plans for the future, per the source. “Taylor has expressed how excited she is to settle down after her tour concludes. They’re on the same page.”
A third insider added at the time, “They both see marriage as something they want sooner rather than later, and they both want kids. Taylor has always [been excited by] the idea of marriage and starting a family. She just hadn’t found The One until now.”
