Taylor Swift Announces 256-Page Eras Tour Book: All the Details

The Eras Tour is nearly over, but Taylor Swift is about to make sure that it lives forever — at least on paper.

Swift, 34, announced on Tuesday, October 15, that she’s releasing a 256-page hardcover book next month documenting her record-breaking tour, which began last year and has since hit five continents. She also confirmed that fans will soon be able to purchase physical editions of The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.

“We’ll be kicking off the final leg of The Eras Tour this week, which is hard to comprehend,” she wrote via Instagram on Tuesday. “This tour has been the most wondrous experience and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way. Well, two ways actually. Excited to announce that The Official Eras Tour Book, filled with my own personal reflections, never-before-seen behind the scenes photos, all the magical memories you guys brought every single night AND …. The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl and CD will all be available for the first time ever only at @Target starting Nov 29th.”

The pop star noted that international fans hoping to get their hands on both items will have information “coming soon.”

As noted in her post, both The Official Eras Tour Book and TTPD: The Anthology will go on sale for American fans at Target starting Friday, November 29, a.k.a. Black Friday.

While there have been many books written about Swift, the Eras Tour book will mark the first time she’s released one herself. The video accompanying the announcement notes that the book will include more than 500 photographs from the tour.

TTPD: The Anthology, meanwhile, has so far only been available digitally since its release in April. While Swift announced the standard edition of the album at the Grammys in February, The Anthology — which included 15 additional tracks — came as a surprise to fans when it dropped a few hours after the first 16 songs on TTPD.

Swift’s video announcement noted that the physical edition of TTPD will have 35 tracks, leaving fans to wonder what those extra four songs might be. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN 35 TRACKS??? THE ANTHOLOGY ONLY HAS 31 HELLO????” asked one bewildered Swiftie via X.

While some fans are praying those four bonus tracks are brand-new songs, many others theorized that the new tunes are either acoustic or live versions of songs that were already on TTPD.

As with many things Swift-related, however, the only option is to wait and see.
