How Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s NYC Date Outfits Coordinate
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce jetted off to New York City for his NFL bye week, making sure to coordinate their outfits.
Swift, 34, and Kelce, 35, were pictured arriving to dinner at The Corner Store on Friday, October 11, alongside Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds, in outfits that epitomized the autumn seasonal shift.
Swift rocked a Gucci corset top with a black skirt and matching ankle boots, pairing it with a camel-colored Ralph Lauren coat. She accessorized her look with a gold choker necklace, a handful of rings and a black Dior saddle bag. Kelce, for his part, opted for a black, printed Jacquemus shirt and coordinating trousers.
As fans spotted Swift and Kelce holding hands as they entered the NYC hotspot, it became apparent that the couple’s outfits were also a match made in heaven.
Kelce’s Jacquemus shirt featured various couples on one half and a galloping horse on the other. Swift’s handbag also had an equestrian nod as the Dior purse was named after the type of bag that is fastened onto the saddle while horseback riding.
“Him in a horse shirt and she has a saddle bag,” one fan wrote via X, adding two sobbing emojis.
Another added, “Him in horse shirt, her carrying the Dior saddle bag *chefs kiss.*”
Sarah Chapelle, the author of Taylor Swift Style, also chimed in, noting via X, “FYI [Travis] is wearing Jacquemus in case you were wondering about the horse guy and gal of it all.”
Of course, Kelce has an equestrian history. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end recently acquired a minority stake in a racehorse named Swift Delivery, a moniker that is unrelated to the pop star. He also had a “dope experience” attending the Kentucky Derby in May, as he mentioned on his “New Heights” podcast. (Swift Delivery did not race in the competition.)
“I was a beginner. I didn’t get too far into [betting],” he quipped during a May episode. “I just wanted to f—ing put the money that I brought in there and throw it down on like one horse and just get f–king pumped if that thing was even close. And sure enough, coming around that corner, you see that thing … come up.”
