It’s that time of year again! No, we’re not talking about holiday shopping (at least not this time). We’re talking about Pantone’s Color of the Year 2025!

While everyone has different color preferences, it’s hard not to get excited about Pantone’s Color of the Year announcement. As we head into 2025, Pantone unveiled its new iconic hue: Mocha Mousse. It speaks to both quiet luxury, harmonization and wrapping yourself in cozy warmth — three things we can all get behind. And most importantly — it’s a creamy dessert. So, what’s not to like?

Pantone shares with Us via a press release, “Mocha Mousse is an evocative soft brown that transports our senses into the pleasure and deliciousness it inspires as the Pantone Color of the Year selection for 2025. A warming rich brown hue, Mocha Mousse nurtures with its suggestion of the delectable quality of cacao, chocolate and coffee, appealing to our desire for comfort.”

Literally, all of our favorite things are encapsulated in this wearable shade. I immediately plunged into mocha mousse-inspired shopping after hearing this news. Mocha Mousse exudes a muted make-up style that’s incredibly on-trend this winter. From liquid blush, to luxe lip gloss and even basic beauty items like body wash, keep scrolling for the best makeup and beauty essentials to channel the trend!
