Samyang And GloRilla Spice Up Coachella With Buldak Spicy Ramen Pop-Up Experience

Coachella 2025 turned up the heat over the weekend, and it wasn’t just the desert sun doing the work.

Korean food giant Samyang Foods — best known for its viral Buldak Spicy Ramen — made history as the first Korean brand to officially partner with the festival, claiming exclusive rights in the hot sauce and ramen categories, and teamed up with Grammy-nominated rapper GloRilla for their debut.

From April 11–13, festivalgoers flocked to the Buldak-branded pop-up located near Indio Central Market, where the brand served up its signature spicy flavors in some seriously unexpected ways. Frozen fruit and ice cream doused in Buldak Hot Sauce quickly became a fan favorite — spicy-sweet, photogenic, and unlike anything else at the festival.

The pop-up also featured the “Buldak Duets” experience, an interactive taste test created in collaboration with GloRilla. Visitors matched their reactions to GloRilla’s on-screen heat test as they sampled three bold Buldak Hot Sauce varieties: Carbonara, Original, and 2X Spicy. The experience added a celebrity twist to the classic spice challenge.

“We’re going to bring heat, flavor and energy to Coachella in a special way,” GloRilla said ahead of the festival. “The Buldak pop-up is about to be lit and we’re really going to spice up the stage together. I can’t wait for the fans to come through and see what we cooked up for everyone.”

The rapper surprised fans with an in-person visit to the pop-up, joining in on tastings and posing for selfies. The event also drew major attention from global influencers, including K-pop group ENHYPEN, TikTok dancer Gabi, and beauty influencer LeoJ, who all stopped by to show support.

If the lines and social buzz were any indication, Buldak’s blend of heat and hype hit the spot. With its creative fusion of food, music, and celebrity energy, Samyang made its Coachella debut a cultural moment.
