Mormon Wives’ Whitney and Jen Unveil Major Hair Makeovers for DWTS

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck are making sure they look sharp ahead of competing on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars.

Whitney, 32, took to TikTok on Sunday, August 10, to show off her hair transformation. In the clip, her hairstylist held up a number of extensions to her hair, teasing what color the reality star would go. First, she teased platinum locks, before holding up copper strands to her auburn hair.

Whitney then cut the camera and revealed her transformation, which included a mix of copper and blonde highlights. Her tresses were cut slightly past her shoulders and styled in bouncy curls. She beamed at her results and danced with excitement.

“New hair loading… 👩🏼👩🏻👩🏻‍🦰???” Whitney captioned the post. “She’s stage ready 🔥🥵.” Her celebrity friends complimented her new look in the comments section.

“The girl that pulls off anything 😍,” her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives costar Taylor Paul wrote, while costar Layla Taylor added, “I’m actually unwell.” DWTS’ Brandon Armstrong’s wife, Brylee Armstrong, commented, “Whitney this hair is ITTTT.”

Jen, 26, also debuted a major makeover on Sunday via TikTok. She sat in her hairdresser’s chair, showing off her honey blonde hair for the last time. She then took out her extensions and dyed her hair brunette, but the shade was still lighter than her roots.

Jen then added another layer of glaze to her mane before showing off her dark chocolate transformation with her extensions back in. Her shiny hair was cut to her waist and styled in a sleek blowout.

“Back to my roots.. 🙈💃,” she captioned the post, to which more of their Mormon Wives costars commented on. “It’s giving……. Mirrorball 🔥🔥👀,” Mikayla Matthews wrote, while Jessi Ngatikaura praised, “THIS IS JEN🔥❤️.”

During the season 1 Mormon Wives reunion in July, Nick Viall surprised the cast and told them that Jen and Whitney made it through auditions and were going to compete on DWTS.

More cast members who have been announced are Alix Earle and Robert Irwin. Season 34 is set to premiere on September 16 on ABC and Disney+.
