Harry Styles’ Hair Transformation: Photos Over the Years
As Harry Styles has gone from boyband member to solo star, his hair has seen some major changes.
Styles’ signature curly locks have caught fans’ attention since he made his X Factor UK debut in 2010. As One Direction rose to fame, the singer continued to grow his hair out. Even Taylor Swift appeared to reference his “long hair, slicked back” on her 2014 track “Style,” which is rumored to be about their brief fling.
During 1D’s Where We Are Tour that same year, Styles’ hair was the longest it’s ever been. When he cut it short for his Another Man magazine photo shoot in 2016, fans mourned the loss of his curls.
Since then, the “Watermelon Sugar” singer has continued to grow out his locks — albeit, never to his shoulders again — and sported a full coif for years. He turned heads with another drastic change in November 2023 when he was spotted at U2’s Sphere concert in Las Vegas with a shaved head (much to fans’ dismay).
