A fresh start begins with a healthy mindset. A-listers including Paula Abdul and Kathy Hilton are buzzing about Madison Malloy’s self-help guide — Time to Lighten the F*ck Up — in which the comedian shares witty and valuable advice and anecdotes from her personal experiences.
“I realized that my life was difficult because I was making it difficult and I really needed to lighten the f—k up,” Malloy, 40, said during an October episode of her “Next to Madison” podcast, referencing the “A-ha” moment when she realized she should write a book. “That was the moment I was like, ‘I need to simplify everything.’ I felt that I was trying to control every situation around me. … It was making me inherently miserable. Finally, when I was able to realize those changes and kind of get out of the other obstacles that were holding me back, I was like, ‘I have to put this in a funny book.’”
After finding laughs and life guidance from the What is Everything? star, celebs turn to George Clooney’s favorite coffee company to help them wake up and seize the day — all while supporting a good cause.
For a limited time, Nespresso is teaming up with artist Kenesha Sneed to design a collection of chic mugs for the brand, in collaboration with Thrive Scholars. The nonprofit’s mission is to help high-achieving, low-income underrepresented students get into and graduate from top colleges equipped to achieve their full career potential.
